82513 [Sunday #68] wake
190.5 32.5 49 – I can feel it too. Let’s have some coconut water and start
the recovery routine. Sea salt purge yielded little. GI metabolism working
well. Protein shake for bkft – chores – early nap and produce shopping. Headed
to TU for mtg. Casein/fruit shake and afternoon supps.
Pretty intense
workout at TU, “shockwave” – BCAAs after, trailmix & protein bars. A lot of
protein today.
82613 [Monday #69] 189 23.5
53. Although it was a nice day and I was energetic, I never left the house.
I did juice my veggies, have two shakes – one with whey the later w/ casein and
worked out with weight vest and ankle weights.
Caught up with
w/ TB 2 hr. convo and got a nap. Back to work tonight for Tuesday. I could
possibly work legs heavy tomorrow. Catch up on this journal tonight.
Did some eval
pix today also. I look pretty good. Need to get the fat off the torso. That
will be difficult. There, I’ve acknowledged it – now make it happen.
Treat myself as
if I’m 15 lb overweight. Also worked flex and did some biceps curls. Iced the
shoulder, feel pretty good about the day over all.
82713 [Tuesday #70] – wake
191 17.5 57 post – 1; some squats, drank bkft, hemp pro, egg whites, etc.
pretty good. Going to the Y – start heavy and singles in the middle and body
work and stretch @ the end. That’s the plan. Also pre-work drink and stack.
YMCA
Squats – 315 was
heavy. 5 sets about 22 reps total, felt heavy.
Leg press –
maxed, maybe even went over 3 sets and calf press and single calf raises.
Shin Flex – 95
lbs and foot raise, deep squats and kix between.
Single leg slide
presses – 135 + block, plus calf presses, up to 275, 3 rounds.
Triceps press
down – 100 lbs; 20 – 16 – 12
Stretch and
sauna for shoulder and out.
Post workout
head ache, should be noted. Dehydrated? Work out too hard? Poor nutrition? I
tried to nap but couldn’t. sore (raw) left side of lip where top & bottom
meet, left corner.
82813 [Wednesday #71] – AM gig – suffering a headache!! What?
Maybe I should eat. Body doesn’t feel hungry tho… eat anyway!!
Double but no
relief.
Finally got a
cup of tea and book – headache gone. Okay, not that fast. Celebrated friendship
at Mom’s. tailpipe bracket broke on the car. Had a late shake, thin &
melon'y. Maybe some legs @ the gig – but hard tomorrow – somewhere.

190.5, 20 55.5% Home work, various
activities including sprinting up the steps, leg work with wts, dynamic
tension, etc. nice day but didn’t go out. No biggie, tomorrow is another day.
83013 [Friday #73] 190.5
18 56.5 – before alarm, pretty good wake, opted to train at home,
weight vest squats 1 legged stuff. Protein breakfast, low cal stuff. Not
feeling very hungry, not weal or super strong.
83113 [Saturday #74] wake 192
18 56.5. had a shot of sambuca before bed, gp.
Woke feeling
good, iced shoulder, organized music. Determined to get out, just for shopping.
El steps easier. Just got to keep climbing. Drank bkft. Got to mix stuff for
the week. Back to temple Tuesday, back to squats Wednesday, either TU or at the
Y. Keep doing home work too for legs and cardio. Vest and ankle weights.
SEPTEMBER
90113 [Sunday #75] – 191:
18 56.5. Normal therapy and flex stuff. Sundae party. One drink was like a
whole night of drinking.
90213 [Monday #76] – wake 191
20.5 55.5. chores juiced, shoulder
therapy, etc. the injury really affects my motivation.
90313 [Tuesday #77] – wake
191 18 56.5: 2 – double GX today
maybe squats 3- before GX. Strong performance, shoulder was a star. Blood
flow!!
90413 [Wednesday #78] wake
191 17 57: After 2, feeling
unmotivated to squat heavy. Opted for a grounding workout.
Park Workout –
about an hour aerobics, kickboxing, barefoot in the park, let’s see how this
grounding stuff works.
90513 [Thursday #79] 191 18.5
56.5. returned to doing some stuff at the gig. One handed pulls w/
the good side, wall push with the injured side.
Body and mind
are pulling me away from weights and do
more body weight even for legs. Maybe resume squats in mid October? Also train
outside more. Return to ruggedness seems like a misnomer these days.
Fed demo today.
Go to fed GX demo – a good workout for me, broke sweat, but didn’t over do it.
Voice and shoulder held. Back to the bar and bands tonight. Maybe barefoot in
the park tomorrow.
90613 [Friday #80] – 190.5
21 54.5 – aerobic workout in the park, on the slope. It was good. I was
wiped out afterwards. Did some one arm pull and push at the gig, nothing major.
90713 [Saturday #81] – wake
188.5 20 55. Sore on right side of neck and back (trapz). Most exercise was
flexing and stretching, feels like what people describe as whiplash (I know now
it was from last night’s one arm pull ups). Probably from the one arm hang stuff
at work. Extreme DOMS I think.
